I am a second year CS student at Trinity College Dublin and a 2026 Web Summit Scholar. I also co-founded Lockup, an app to help schools regulate phone usage, and served as its CTO until September 2026. By then it was used by over 350 students across three schools.
Some of my side projects include 30papers.com, which hit the Hacker News top 10 and drew 68,000 users in a day, and Snap and Swing, a Snapchat AR game played over 21 million times.
Most of what I do outside coursework ends up on the Projects page above. My biggest interest at the moment is in large language models and I am in the midst of catching up on relevant research papers. I am also very passionate about helping students from rural Ireland succeed inside the tech industry.
My biggest side project at the moment is a GPT I am working on. I have implemented a KV cache, gradient clipping, learning rate warmup and top-p sampling. I am writing it in PyTorch and I appreciate any suggestions that anyone has for ways I could expand it.
